Our friends and partners at Global Lyme Alliance hosted their 5th Annual New York City Gala at Cipriani last night, attracting celebrities, patients, scientists and Friends in the Fight to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for tick-borne disease.
Celebrity guests included Yolanda Hadid, Senator Richard Blumenthal, PGA champion Jimmy Walker, Dr. Oz, the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey and more. In addition, honored guests included Bob and Karen Kelly, our friend Adirenne Nolan-Smith, founder of WellBe, and David Nolan, a father of three children effected by Lyme disease.
This sold out event featured a performance from the Big Apple Circus and was hosted by Rosanna Scotto, co-host of FOX 5’s “Good Day New York.”
While the celebrities and performances certainly made the night exciting – the most exciting part of the night by far was the funds raised to fight for a cure for Lyme disease and tick-borne disease.
Thank you Global Lyme Alliance for your dedication and consistent support for the Lyme community, and for your work to fund the research we so desperately need. Congratulations on another wonderful gala!
