Jameela Jamil recently confirmed that she is living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a rare connective tissue disorder. She shares this diagnosis with many of our Friends in the Fight. And just like those folks, Jameela Jamil has a way of finding strength and humor in her diagnosis.
In a recent Instagram post, Jameela posted a video of herself stretching her cheeks, displaying the classic EDS symptom of elastic skin. She captioned the post, “I’m fine.” finding humor in her struggle.
According to a recent article in Self Magazine, this is the first time she has officially confirmed her diagnosis.
The whole Friends in the Fight community will be thinking of Jameela as she navigates her diagnosis, working to turn her sickness into strength.
